Bulk update and delete

Change the lead source, type, or status of many contacts at once, or delete them. Changes save to JobNimbus.

Select contacts on the Contacts page to change or delete many at once. Every change saves to JobNimbus. For how selection works on every list, see Bulk edits.

Select contacts

  • Tick the box at the start of a row to select that contact.
  • Tick the box in the header to select every contact on the page.
  • With the whole page selected, a banner reads All 20 contacts on this page are selected. Click Select all N matching contacts to select every contact that matches your search and filters, not only this page.

A bar above the list shows how many contacts are selected, with Clear Selection, Bulk Update, and Delete.

Change lead source, type, or status

  1. Select the contacts.
  2. Click Bulk Update.
  3. Tick Update Lead Source and choose the source.
  4. Tick Update Contact Type / Workflow + Status, choose the type, then choose a status for it. A new type always needs a status. Moving contacts to a status that JobNimbus marks as archived also archives them.
  5. Click Update N Contacts.

You can tick one or both options. Large selections save in batches of 25, and the button counts up (Updating 50 of 448). Stay on the page until it finishes. If some contacts fail, a message says how many; the rest are already saved.

Merge two lead sources with the same name

When JobNimbus has two sources with the same name, for example Referred (ID 1) and Referred (ID 20), move everyone onto the one you keep:

  1. In the Lead Source filter, tick only the source you're retiring.
  2. Tick the header box, then click Select all N matching contacts.
  3. Click Bulk Update, tick Update Lead Source, and choose the source you're keeping.
  4. Click Update N Contacts.
  5. Do the same on the Jobs list. See Jobs.
  6. Remove the retired source in JobNimbus.

Delete contacts

Deleted contacts disappear from roofingBoss and JobNimbus. Only JobNimbus can bring them back, under Insights → Classic Reports → Contact Deleted.

  1. Select the contacts.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Read the confirmation, then click Delete contact or Delete N contacts.

If some contacts can't be deleted, they stay selected so you can try again.
