Contacts
Search and filter every JobNimbus contact, then open one to see its details, jobs, activity, and files.
The Contacts page lists every customer, HOA, property manager, and other contact in JobNimbus. Open it from Sidebar → Contacts.
Search for a contact
- Type in Search contacts....
- Press Enter or click Search.
Search matches every word you type across name, company, email, phone numbers, address, city, state, ZIP, sales rep, type, status, and lead source. For example, smith tampa finds the Smiths in Tampa.
roofingBoss keeps a copy of your contacts in the browser, so search and filters answer instantly. The strip above the table shows how many contacts it holds and how old the copy is, for example Showing cached contacts (9,669 indexed) · cached 12m ago. Contacts you add or change in roofingBoss show up right away. Click Refresh to pick up contacts someone just added in JobNimbus. The copy also reloads by itself once it's more than an hour old.
Filter the list
The filters sit next to the search box. Each one you set appears as a chip under the toolbar. Click the × on a chip to remove it, or Clear All Filters to start over.
- Sales Rep: one rep, or All Sales Reps.
- Contact Type: tick one or more types. The list shows contacts of any ticked type. Select All and Clear selection are at the top and bottom of the menu.
- Lead Source: tick one or more sources. When two sources in JobNimbus have the same name, each one shows its ID, such as Referred (ID 1) and Referred (ID 20), so you can filter them separately.
- Date (the button with the calendar icon): under Date field, pick Created Date or Updated, then choose a range.
Click a column heading to sort by it, and click again to reverse. View Columns chooses which columns show; Reset goes back to the default set and Show All turns every column on. Export CSV downloads the matching contacts with those columns. Date presets and the other controls work the same as on every list. See Lists and filters.
